Jack's Heart, By C. Ann Whitfield, is a well-written, twisting, turning tale that kept the "Who Done It" question runningthrough my mind. The many wives trailing behind Jack after his suspicious death made me think he must have been the dumbest
womanizer who ever lived! At the same time, the book caused me to think of a few men I have known that
live (or lived) life just as Jack lived-changing women as frequently as one changes underwear!
The book revolves around plants, gardening, and the Texas landscape, providing a glimpse into many intriguing
species that I never knew existed. The character cast is wonderful-and so true to life. Ex wives who hate each
other's guts, to becoming the best of friends, while the poor old fool's life is gradually coming unraveled, much by
his own doing.
Jack's Heart is a page turner and hard to put down! I was kept wondering which woman decided Jack had bloomed
long enough! Loved this book!

Great Bargain on this book. The author did an amazing job introducing the characters - kept me switching suspects nearly every chapter. Good clues along the way also provided some interesting possibilities. Easy read with some humor along the way made for a Great read. For 99 cents you can't afford to miss this book. Hope to read more from this author soon!
